I’ve used a Coleman coffee maker forever. It’s a Mr Coffee designed to sit over a propane burner. About 5 years ago I found a small round piece if plastic floating around. The device still worked, but it took an extra long time to make a pot of coffee.
A year ago the top broke loose, which could cause a bunch of hot water being sprayed around. I began my search for a replacement. I finally found one and tried it out today.
My old broken maker took 47 minutes to make a pot, which I thought was too long. The new one takes 18 minutes. The difference is a small plastic gadget in the reservoir which broke off in the old one.
So I wasted 30 minutes a day for 5 years waiting for coffee….
