The salmon lunch was excellent, and it was a treat to see the RV park at Whidbey Naval Air Station. The view was obscured for a while by fog, but it thinned out as the day went on and there was plenty to see.
A surprise was that Steve and Sandy appeared. Well, the surprise was on me because the others had worked this out without telling me. I knew that we’d meet up sometime this summer (I think we parted company at Quartzsite), but I thought they were on “on the mainland”. So that was a pleasant addition to the afternoon.
Dave and Kathy will be here at the SKP park on Thursday. Steve and Sandy have a summer of business dealings on Whidbey, so I’m sure we’ll arrange another ferry gathering sometime.
Tomorrow I go into the hospital; I’m planning on being back Thursday….
