Marty's Travels

My house has wheels

Just Hanging in Yuma

I like Yuma, always have. It’s small, but everything you need is easy to find. I always find agriculture communities endlessly fascinating, and the climate is great (this time of year). It’s a good place to look for RV parts, and the fresh produce is wonderful and cheap.

I went to the Arizona Market today and saw the same vendors in the same place selling the same crap they’ve been selling for a decade. I did manage to find one gadget I’ve been needing for a while.

But there’s always the daily air show, flybys of the most unusual of flying machines that the Marines seem especially fond of. I’m not that happy with what I think is a UAV that patrols the area during the night at very low altitude.

I’ll spend the weekend stocking up for a stay in Quartzsite.
