I’ll move a bit west to Biloxi, Mississippi tomorrow for an overnight, then a longish drive north to near Jackson, MS. This is to do some genealogy research for a friend, and then gets me around New Orleans and environs during Carnival.
It gives me a great chance to get acquainted with Mississippi (my only ideas on the place are totally negative) and get back to where I can eat Southern food. I’m addicted to Southern, but know full well that it’s not the healthiest way to eat. But it’s so damned good.
