Family visit

The family returned to Port Townsend, this time moteling rather than camping. I guess they like this area. And it’s a lot of fun seeing them, especially the little ones.

Maizie (age 5) is pretty good at taking care of herself, though quite imaginative being picky about food. The boys, both age 1, are either crawling or running in all directions with no regard to where they are going. Tough to keep up with them, and they are going all the time…until they aren’t. They wore me out, and I only have to spend a few hours with them. It was fun, though. Play on the beach, go shopping, eat ice cream, and eat LOTS of pizza. I suggested just feeding them pizza and ice cream, but their parents didn’t think much of that idea.

I’m nearing the end of my stay here on the Olympic Peninsula, heading for Yakima on Wednesday. Some might note that I am not going to Burning Man this year, which I’ll explain later. I’m looking forward to getting on the road again, it’s been a few months, but will miss the kids and the beauty of the Peninsula a lot. It’s been one of the best stays I’ve had.
