Marty's Travels

My house has wheels

Here on the Peninsula

By now it should be obvious that I enjoy life on the Peninsula. The combination of blue water, high mountains, historic towns, the islands and ferry boats, old friends and family makes it all too perfect. For as many years as I’ve spent here during the summers, there’s always something new to see, or maybe a concert or festival will break out in some tiny village somewhere.

Dave and Kathy and I are parked here in the Escapee park and are reminiscing of our stay last week at Point Hudson, which we’re pretty sure is the best place to park an RV anywhere. We’re coming up with ideas now as to how to maximize our time out there.

An old friend (grade school) dropped by today, a college roommate that I haven’t seen in decades. He’s looking after his aging parents in Sequim, and we hope to see more of each other.

It’s pretty here, a nice place.
