Jim and Bobbie came down from Mesa today, bringing Mike and Sandy with them. So we had quite a group at lunch. I think everyone will meet up again in Tucson in March, I’ll see Mike and Sandy at Q in January, Dave and Kathy I’ll see in Yuma, Tucson, and then the Peninsula. Trisha will be in Tucson in March, I think.
But I figured that a lot of friends were going to be found in the desert this year.
I’m heading out tomorrow towards Yuma. I say “towards” because I dislike that run on I-8 more than anything, so I might stop in Gila Bend just to break up the drive.
While I’ve been dry-camping here I parked next to some trees which have partly shaded my panels all week. I’ve been slowly losing battery power all week long, never quite getting them charged to 100%. Once I pull out it will take maybe two days to get my batteries back to normal. But I shouldn’t run into any trees for a few months.
