Scattered thunderstorms wet the desert pretty good last weekend, but even so I’ve been touring around a bit. I found a good green chile cheeseburger in Columbus, down by the border, and a good BBQ place in Hatch (not Sparky’s).
Last summer I had a problem with my batteries, and yanked the big inverter I had installed but wasn’t using. This week I’m putting it back into the circuit and watching, but see no problems. It will come in handy this winter if it isn’t a vampire on my battery bank.
In Pot news, Colorado’s proposal to ban edibles went down in flames, likely signaling that no state will tackle this problem for a year or two. In Seattle, the City sent warning letters to 330 medical marijuana suppliers that they’ll need state licenses or be shut down. Except the state doesn’t license medical establishments. Watching governments scramble (funny anytime) on the marijuana thing is rather entertaining.
Weather is warm, sunny, clear, and calm. Deming has perfect weather, until it’s not….
