The cold blast from the NW will arrive in deep south Texas tomorrow. It’s looking like it will be much like the week before last, cold, windy, and cloudy. Since it’s been hot and humid here lately, the collision of cold dry air with warm humid will create thunderstorms. Here we go again.
I’m looking forward to it, actually. I’m tired of the thick air and clammy feel on everything. I hate putting on clothes in the morning when they’re damp.
Grapefruit is dropping off the trees right now, and I enjoy the pink (or red) the most. I found avocados today at 25 cents, but that was likely an HEB sale thing which they are prone to do. Last week I picked up on pork chops for $1 a pound there. HEB is the best.
