New Brakes

I finally replaced my truck brakes, after two (maybe more) years of wondering when they would need attention. The technology of those things is shocking; after 150,000 miles on the originals, I had the option of putting on equipment likely good for 250,000. My budget only allowed for something less, but I probably won’t have to worry about them again.

So everything has been done on my truck, except a new battery (just because) and tracking down a slight idle surge when hot. I think everything’s good for the road, to which I’m looking at the end of the month.

Rain today, the first in 35 days. The third July ever recorded with 0 rainfall.
