I have my “Deming Rule”: If the forecast is for winds 35 mph or more, stay put. The forecast is for winds 35-45 mph this weekend.
Wind makes for stressful driving, and the trucks make it even worse. Then, if this area of New Mexico is not the dustiest in the country, it’s number 2.
So I’ve got two more days here, albeit in a wind and dust storm, which gives me a chance to get to more of my favorite restaurants.
I’m hoping to be able to get out on Sunday…
