I was there the night we came up with this idea I think in 1969. We were sitting around mocking the Drug Enforcement Agency and Border control for their ineptitude in “stopping marijuana” from crossing the border. I owe a lot of the idea to my friends and to the high quality of the smuggled Mexican weed we were smoking.
I’ve become aware that some folks don’t get some of my writing. Let me try this joke again:
“The DEA and border control couldn’t stop marijuana if it was wrapped around an atomic bomb”.
For 50 fucking years we’ve been pouring money into a completely useless effort, and all we have to show for it is an imbecile Congressman that somehow heard a stoner joke from the Beatles’ Days. When they were alive!
