My house has wheels

Benson, Arizona

I made it to Benson today without any wheel or axle problems, but I was doing an inspection every 30 minutes along the way. And I’m keeping a record of every inspection so I can hopefully see trouble develop early. Well, I can wish.

It’s cold here, 19 expected tonight. That means I might have frozen pipes tomorrow morning. I’m not using the park’s water supply because my hose will freeze for sure.

My beloved cat heater failed about a month ago and I haven’t been anywhere lately that stocks such things; Tucson will have it. I am getting along by using electric space heaters and my furnace, but the furnace is noisy, is a battery hog, and half the heat goes out the exhaust. I really want a new cat heater.

What destroys cat heaters is pollutants settling on the catalytic pad, like dust and smoke; I’ve had the heater for 5 years so I’m not complaining.

It’s good to see Howie and Norah, it’s been a while and we have to lot to catch up on.
