My house has wheels

Algadones

No one was around when I entered US Customs this morning; without the inevitable lines I was a tad confused about what to do. I cautiously opened a door and there were two agents sitting there doing nothing. I picked one, he swiped my passport and I was out of there. Never seen that before.

I went over to get a new door window for my RV. My last one fell apart when the UV ate away the “lead”. I’ll post a pic when I get it installed.

Watching the spray-painters is a favorite activity of mine, next to watching the reactions of first-time visitors to this town. It does take some practice to keep your emotions under control while being verbally assaulted by would-be comedians. If you hate circus clowns, this place would be hell.

New readers: Algodones is a Mexican town across the border from Yuma that specializes in pharmacy, dental, optical, liquor, and Mexican products. Extremely popular with the senior set due to the low prices. The pressure from eager sales people can be very intimidating, but it’s a lot more fun if you bargain. How to do that? Start with 1/2 of what they say, but be prepared to make the purchase when they hit a good price.
