There is no end to the scenery around here, even in the clouds and rain.  I passed 10,000 feet and reminded myself that I&#8217;m useless above 9K until I can get acclimated, so no walking around.<\/p>\n<p>Cripple Creek is rebuilding it&#8217;s main street, an extremely tight schedule between summer season and winter, and it&#8217;s a mess.  I did get into one of the several casinos and triple my starting stake, which wasn&#8217;t bad.<\/p>\n<p>The rain and flooding today provided me with two new features of the view from where I&#8217;m parked: a river and a pond.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be here until the rains pass, likely Saturday, then I&#8217;ll check out Pueblo.
