Oh, and today I paid the WA sales tax on my purchase.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never launched such a big boat before, a sequence of steps and techniques similar to RVs.  So I&#8217;ve been lurking at the boat launch in PT watching the more experienced folk.  One guy had a new boat, never been in the water.  He had two friends with him, who have never launched a boat.  First, the owner couldn&#8217;t back down the ramp (a long perfectly straight shot) and took out his front fender on his new truck.  There were 4 boats waiting (and watching).  The boat refused to leave the trailer, even with three guys pushing on a floating boat.  &#8220;Oh, we left the straps on&#8221;.  The straps hold the boat to the trailer for travel.  Pull it out of the water and do it again.  I left at that point.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully the line won&#8217;t be long when I get there in the morning because I&#8217;m going to need some time to work through things.
