But I obviously had a personal interest in this one even though I felt that the more experienced Broncos would prevail.<\/p>\n<p>The Seahawks didn&#8217;t do anything unexpected, though Harvin&#8217;s &#8220;debut&#8221; was impressive.  And they managed to keep the penalties under control.  So Denver should have had a complete grasp on what they were up against.  Could the Broncos have been suffering from hubris and delusions of &#8220;exceptionalism&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>The last championship for Seattle was in 1979, with the NBA Super Sonics, and the party then was a lot of fun.  I wish I could be there this week.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite commercial was Coca Cola&#8217;s &#8220;America is Beautiful&#8221; spot.  It turned my head, and impressed me with it&#8217;s simple elegance.  Then it hit me that there would certainly be complaints about it, and there are this morning.  Remember the inane opinion expressed by W about the national anthem being sung in Spanish?
