The cardinals are in full dress and full song, and there’s a lot of them here. I’m at a casino RV lot, mainly to visit the CW battle site, but the town itself looks very interesting, very scenic next to the Mississippi River. I’ll have time tomorrow for being a tourist.<\/p>\n
Some weather is coming in this weekend, heavy rain, so I’ll wait it out here before moving.<\/p>\n
RV talk: I forgot to set my breakaway cable this morning, it came loose and the wind apparently got it tangled. When I took the hard 90 into the RV park, it popped out of the switch, setting the trailer brakes. But not very well so I got parked. The cable wasn’t there so I couldn’t plug it back in, so I cut the wire to break the circuit. But, I noted the amperage draw of the brakes: 6.5 amps.<\/p>\n
If I can find a replacement cable, fine. Otherwise I’ll ignore it. But I did expect the trailer brakes to lock up tighter than they did.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
