Usually they get destroyed by taking road metal or by a failed axle.  Still, I never like putting out the money, and they get more expensive every time.<\/p>\n<p>Next up, very soon, are a pair for my truck&#8217;s rear axle, which wear twice as fast as my fronts.  If I want to do any beach driving in Texas, I&#8217;ll have to do them before venturing out on the sand.  My truck tires wear faster than they theoretically should because I keep them under-inflated a bit for comfort&#8217;s sake.  When they are fully inflated and best when towing, the ride when not towing is so hard and &#8220;goosey&#8221; that I feel out of control.  So I found a middle range I can live with at the expense of increased wear.<\/p>\n<p>That completes my list of tasks here in Summerdale, so I can move again on Monday, a scenic route to Livingston, Texas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another pair of tires for my trailer, but this time they were just worn down.
