The Escapee park is closed to travelers, open only to leaseholders. The buildings are locked up so there&#8217;s little chance of contact with other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Downtown Port Townsend looks like a scene from Twilight Zone: A perfectly set-up tourist town ready to go but without a person or vehicle in sight. The grocery store was about usual, except for a load of new employees. At the Port, the Alaskan fishing fleet is in for seasonal maintenance and seems to be normal. This is not a cruising time of year but the Port is not taking transient moorage requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I gave up on even trying for a haircut, but I am on the search for a laundry.
