Lillian wanted me to go through my brother Glenn’s stuff, so we spent the afternoon looking at all his things. There was a lot of junk, er, collectibles, and a ton of family photographs and such. My dad’s photographic negatives were glued together either from moisture or heat, so those were tossed. The photos and movies and slides I kept and will have to sort them out.<\/p>\n
I found a document I’ve been looking for for 20 years, my mom’s airplane ticket getting her to Seattle in 1949. That was an unusual thing for a woman (or anyone) to do in 1949, fly on commercial aircraft from Kansas City to Seattle. Glenn knew he had possession of it, he just never found it.<\/p>\n
