I&#8217;m heading to Yakima for a few days but taking the long way along the Columbia river.  Part of that is to avoid the traffic and construction on I-90 across the mountains, and part of it is because it&#8217;s a prettier drive.  Right now I&#8217;m in Kelso, WA, and will reach Yakima tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>For the last 6 weeks or so a tiny amount of fluid has been leaking into the truck passenger compartment.  But then it would quit.  Maybe a tablespoon&#8217;s worth at most.  I figured it is likely the heater core, but couldn&#8217;t get into my mechanic&#8217;s for a few weeks.  After about a half hour&#8217;s drive today it started leaking a lot.  I got it to stop by turning the heater completely off, which I hope works for a while.<\/p>\n<p>To get this fixed, I will need to spend a lot of time and money.  I&#8217;ll give it a try to find somebody in Yakima that wants to tackle this complex job.
