It takes a few hours to make new spectacles so I spent the day watching the people.<\/p>\n<p>The town depends on snowbirds: fat, ugly, obnoxious, and stupid people.  They make an astonishing amount of money selling drugs, eyeglasses, and teeth care at a tenth of what it costs in the US.<\/p>\n<p>So I got some new glasses today, a prescription slightly better than what I&#8217;ve been wearing, but it will go bad in a few months.  No matter.  The new ones are a bit more modern, more in style, but nothing remarkable.  I use progressives, which means it will take a few days to get used to them.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got some RV parts on order which should arrive tomorrow.
