It&#8217;s world-class birdwatching, I always enjoy the town of Tombstone, and the RV park I&#8217;m in is one of the best I&#8217;ve stayed in.<\/p>\n<p>Tombstone Territories RV Park is extremely popular and fills up (100 spaces) regularly this time of year.  I pulled in on a gamble, and discovered they&#8217;d let me park in storage and wait until a space came up.  For $20 a night.  This matches the highest rate I ever paid for dry camping, in Ventura, CA, backed up against the Pacific Ocean.  That experience was worth the $20, and this one is too.<\/p>\n<p>The park is on a high spot and has a 360 degree view of the desert.  The dry-camp\/storage area is on the fringe of the place, and has a 180 degree view with absolutely no man-made objects to be seen.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m backed up into the mesquite and a rag-tag collection of grasses and brush, with just a touch of the pastel green of Spring. The perfect environment for birds, and who knows what other critters.<\/p>\n<p>Here for a few days while I take a look at the canyons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my all-time favorite places to visit.
