Conover

My father was a Conover. The name has evolved from Van Kouvenhoven, meaning "from the Koven farm", and many spelling variations can be found.

Wolfert Gerritsen Van Kouvenhouven.  He was the first immigrant from Amersfoort, Holland in 1625.

Noah Conover.  Noah came to Ohio in about 1816 from New Jersey.

Earl Conover Newspaper Articles.  These are from the Cincinnati papers from 1949, 1962, and 1996, and tell the story of the missing businessman.

Ed Cassidy article from Yakima.  A Feature article done by a local reporter.

James and Hannah Kiester.  I can't find James, and Hannah was really a Koester.

Photo Album.  Various photos and images.
